Haidee Nel (b. 1977, Swellendam, South Africa) is currently pursuing her Master's in Fine Art at the University of Cape Town. She has participated in various South African and international art fairs and auctions, winning several awards, including the 1st Prize for her sculpted dress At the End of the Rainbow - Show Stopper in 2016. Nel's work emphasizes themes of kindness, childhood, and self-acceptance, often manifested in public sculptures and community-based installations that foster growth and belonging.
