About this Item
Famille Perrin is a leading wine producer and négociant in the southern Rhône Valley. The business was established in 1997, and today makes wines from some of the region's most famous appellations, including Vacqueyras, Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
The Perrin family has been making wine in the region since the early 1900s, when scientist Pierre Perrin inherited the Château de Beaucastel estate. Perrin's grandchildren, François and Jean-Pierre, founded the Famille Perrin business together before passing on the reins two years later to the fifth-generation Perrin, Pierre, in 1999.
In addition to its renowned Château de Beaucastel estate, Famille Perrin's portfolio includes Miraval, Domaine du Clos des Tourelles and La Vielle Ferme.
Sourced from eight hectares of old vines, with an average age of 50 years managed by the Château de Beaucastel team, the Vacqueyras ‘Les Christins’ is a wine of great concentration and finesse. Made from 75% Grenache and 25% Shiraz grapes.

Critics Ratings
‘Transparent garnet. There is some delicacy here and beautiful lift with sweetness and spice as well as a certain herbiness. I've always loved this really rather refined wine and if anything it seems underpriced. Unlike the Nature Côtes-du-Rhône, the tannins are well in the background and it's the fruit that speaks, and charms. Long.’ – Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com, 17/20 (Mar 2021)
‘A fresh and unadorned style, with damson plum and cherry notes laced with subtle sanguine and mineral threads. The finish is restrained but sneaky long. Drink now through 2025.’ – James Molesworth, Wine Spectator, 90/100 (Sep 2021)
