About this Item
Gary and Kathy Jordan have been making world-class wines since 1993 on this Stellenbosch Kloof property, and today leads a multinational commercial success that they built up from a family concern. Gary's parents, Ted and Sheelagh, bought the 146 hectare Stellenbosch property in 1982, and embarked on an extensive replanting program, specializing in classic varieties suited to the different soils and slopes.
CWG Auction 2009: 'Complex, dark chocolate, black cherry and cassis intertwine with rich blackberry fruit and hints of vanilla and spice from the integrated French oak. Densely layered ripe tannins add to the opulent finish. Well-structured, this wine will reward careful cellaring for many years to come.'

Critics Ratings
‘Very sanguine, with alluring grilled herb, tobacco and olive notes leading the way for a supple core of blackberry and black currant fruit. The long, fine-grained finish lets the tobacco note linger. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2011. 88 cases made.’ - James Molesworth, Wine Spectator, 91/100 (Dec 2015)
