The SEED III Online-Only Auction is curated by the Southern African Foundation for Contemporary Art. The purchase price or the hammer price of each work sold will be distributed as follows:

50 % will go to support the artist.

10 % will be given to the gallery towards administrative and logistic costs when artists are officially represented. The independent artists will receive this additional 10% but will be responsible for these other tasks.

9 % will be going to support the Bag Factory, Centre for the Less Good Idea and the META Foundation (3% each ). These NPC are some of the other strongest buttresses of the contemporary artworld in South Africa at the level of the art practice.

1 % will go towards some communication costs.

30 % will go to support mainly the residency program of SAFFCA NPC and SAFFCA.EU in South Africa and in Europe.

SAFFCA will arrange all domestic shipping with the galleries or the artists, at no charge to the buyer. International shipping and related duties, however, will be for the buyer’s account.
