100% of the proceeds of the sale of the present lot will go towards the Crisis Network Response. Cornè Theron's Water Everywhere pays tribute to the humanitarian work of Crisis Response Network (CRN) in its efforts to alleviate suffering. CRN was founded by Yolande Korkie, who, after enduring a life-altering crisis as a hostage in Yemen with her husband, established the organization. She also authored the book 558 Days to share her journey. Inspired by CRN's response to the cyclones in Mozambique, this lot features an oil painting and video animation that explores the paradox of resource abundance and scarcity. The artwork encourages reflection on global resource distribution and the individual responsibility we all share in addressing these challenges.
