comprising: a cigarette case, Joseph Gloster Ltd, Birmingham, 1904, rounded rectangular with engraved 'J.W.S' cartouche, dents,7,5cm; a card case,, Charles Edwin Turner, Birmingham, 1923, with machine-tooled surface and circular monogrammed cartouche engraved 'J.W.S', containing eleven visiting cards inscribed 'Mr J. Walter Saaler' and 'Rand Club,Johannesburg,11.5cm; another, maker's mark worn, Chester, 1909, scrollwork engraving and circular 'JWS' cartouche, dents, 8,3cm; a box, Henry Williams Ltd, Birmingham, 1900, rounded rectangular, with gilt interior, 9cm; a snuff box, John Linnit, London, 1816, engraved with a monogram and a dog, the cover with gilt surface, worn,7,5cm; another, James Deakin & Sons, Chester 1902, with scrollwork and foliate embossing and engraved monogram, 8cm; a pill box, W.I Broadway & Co, Birmingham, 1981, circular, 4,5cm; and a compact with mirror, Deakin & Francis Ltd, Birmingham, 1935, circular, machine-tooled surface and engraved monogram, 8cm diameter; 545g all in
