A pair of Sheraton style mahogany dining chairs, 20th century
each with curved top-rail above reeded twin opposing lancet-arch splat-back supports centred by solid rhombus-shaped panel, stuff-over seat, raised on square-section legs terminating in spade feet

Notes
Sheraton had training as a cabinet maker and looked to the furniture of the Louis XVI era for design ideas. Sheraton created his own publications and was most well known for The Cabinet-Maker and Upholsterer's Drawing Book.
