Notes
Oleg Ardimasov was born in the Khabarovsk region of Siberia. He began his artistic training under Ofisa Burkova and after nine years, enrolled in the Irkutsk Art School in 1953 where he developed a deep passion for drawing and painting. Ardimasov continued to study at the Surikov Art Institute in Moscow under celebrated artists. He then went on to teach at Surikov Institute from 1973 to 2001, serving in the roles of Dean of Graphics, Chair of the Graphic Department, and Dean of Academic Affairs. His works are featured in the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow and are also held in numerous private collections across Russia and internationally, including in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, England, the United States of America, Canada, Italy, Switzerland, France, Indonesia, Japan, and South Korea.
