‘The 2015 Syrah Reserve comes from three different parcels from decomposed granite and shale soils, the vines planted between 1997 and 2005, undergoing a natural ferment in 225 and 500-liter used barriques. This has a very composed bouquet with mulberry, redcurrant and violet aromas, very expressive and showing excellent varietal typicité. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, certainly a cooler style of Syrah, although there is a decent 14.5% alcohol (due to the opening of the canopies).
