‘The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is aged for 18 months in 40% new oak. This has an intense bouquet with blackberry, liquorice and touches of pain grillé . The palate is medium-bodied and nicely balanced with grainy tannins, fine acidity and a touch of chewiness on the finish. 'André van Rensburg uses grapes from "at least 15 different Cabernet sites" to produce this blend with 14% Merlot and Cabernet Franc produced as a 27,000-bottle blend.
