David & Nadia's Elpidios wine is named after the Greek word "Elpida", which means "hope." The name reflects the winery's philosophy of optimism and perseverance in their winemaking journey. The use of the name Elpidios also gives the wine a personal and meaningful connection, aligning with the winery's commitment to producing elegant and terroir-driven wines from the Swartland region of South Africa.

'Elpidios is an attractive, seamlessly judged cuvée of mostly Grenache with 62% Syrah, Cinsault, Carignan and Pinotage, creating a Cape-meets-the-Mediterranean feel.
