the centre decorated with auspicious symbols within a four-sided diaper frame, the cavetto with four shaped panels enclosing flowerheads and Buddhist symbols, the border with four panels enclosing pomegranates alternating with stylised tassels against a diaper ground, wavy rim, the reverse painted with four shaped panels enclosing flowerheads alternating with stylised tassels, the border painted with four sprays of flowerheads, raised on a low foot, the footrim drilled for hanging, 21,2cm diameter
