A Chinese hardwood and burr walnut incense stand, Qing Dynasty, 19th century
possibly hongmu, the circular top inlaid with a conforming burr walnut panel above a plain waist and shaped apron, raised on four cabriole legs with upturned foliate-carved terminals, joined by a circular pierced stretcher, raised on pad feet, minor restoration, minor chip, 28,5cm high, 22,3cm diameter

Purchased by the current owner in the 1980s in London.
