A Christofle four-piece silver-plate tea and coffee service, mid 20th century
comprising: a teapot, a coffee pot, a two-handled covered sugar bowl and a milk jug, each octagonal body raised on a stepped circular footrim, the sides applied with harp-shaped ebonized handles, the spouts moulded with stylised foliate motifs, the rims with gadrooned border, each cover with urn-shaped finial, engraved ‘CHRISTOFLE, FRANCE’, the coffee pot 23,8cm high
