A Japanese blue and white scholar's ink stand, early 20th century
in the form of a double gourd, painted with figures and pavilions in a mountainous riverscape, underglaze-blue double character mark, 14,5cm long, 9,5cm wide; a Japanese blue and white pierced censor and cover, rhombus-shaped, with alternating blue and white and biscuit fired panels, painted and moulded with dragons, phoenix and ho-o birds, within blue-line borders, raised on four bracket feet, the pierced cover decorated with scrolling foliage, chips to the rim, 10cm high, 11cm wide; and a Japanese blue and white shaped dish, 20th century, of wavy lozenge-shaped outline painted with foliate rondels, the reverse with vacant medallions, the rim with cross-hatch border, 22cm wide
