hexagonal, the centre decorated with medallions, the rim with alternating panels of stylised foliage and geometric motifs, the reverse with sprays of flowerheads, chip, underglaze-blue mark, 28,5cm wide; and a Japanese blue and white bowl, early 20th century, octagonal, the centre decorated with a stylised bird enclosed by blue-line borders, the rim with butterflies and scrolling foliage, the reverse similarly decorated, chips and hairline cracks, underglaze-blue four-character mark, 8,4cm high
