A pair of Old Sheffield plate entreé dishes and covers, first quarter 19th century
each lobed body applied with foliate handles, raised on shell, leaf and scroll feet, the domed cover with detachable acanthus leaf-and-acorn handle, the front of each cover engraved with an armorial, the first entreé dish, liner and base engraved with the numeral 4, the second entreé dish, liner and base engraved with the numerals 1 and 2, 32,5cm wide over handles, the taller 20,4cm high
