Three Chinese 'shadow' agate snuff bottles, late 19th/early 20th century
the first of rounded flattened form carved with a sage before a rocky mountainscape, the reverse with small boats in a riverscape before a pavilion, the stone of mottled grey tone, stopper, 5,3cm high; the second carved with wave-shaped handles, the semi-translucent stone highlighted with mottled brown patterns and amber patches, stopper, 5,4cm high; the third of ovoid flattened form, the stone of grey tone suffused with greyish-beige 'thumbprint'-form inclusions, stopper, 5,8cm high
