Edgar Bold was a prominent Producer and Director in South Africa's growing film industry. His films include Jock of the Bushveld, the Albert Schweitzer film Lambarene, Fiela se Kind, Taxi to Soweto, and the record-breaking Leon Schuster hits There's a Zulu on my Stoep and Panic Mechanic. His television hits include The Story of an African Farm and the award-winning 1922. Incorrectly illustrated as lot 493.
