A Victorian plated tea kettle-on-stand
octagonal baluster form, with alternating panels of birds-of-paradise and foliate c-scrollwork, the hinged cover applied with a flower finial, the shoulders applied with c-scrolls and wooden swing handle, raised on a stepped circular base, 24cm high; the square-shaped stand with a gadrooned and floral border on four pierced and scroll feet, the sides applied with open c-scroll and shell supports, central spirit burner, plating worn, repairs and oxidization, 22,5cm high
