A French gilt-metal-mounted clock garniture, late 19th century
the 9cm enamel dial with arabic numerals, bell-striking movement, the backplate numbered '1056', the case surmounted by a quiver of arrows, foliate sprays and ribbons, the front with conforming decoration enclosed by a beaded border, the sides with acanthus leaves and scroll terminals, raised on a shaped marble base with applied gilt mounts, on five toupie feet, 28,5cm high; and a pair of two-light candelabra, each with foliate arm supports flanking a quiver of arrows, raised on a domed circular foot on a conforming marble base with four toupie feet, gilding worn on all the mounts, 25,5cm high; with later gilt-wood stands
