Notes
Henry Davies has an impressive stylistic scope: dominant forms might be sky-reaching, stylised and organic like those of Flowerbox, or rigid, calculated and hard-edged like those in Game Piece I. His works show significant attention to detail, technical care and imagination while, with the output in mind of the likes of Peter Schütz, Keith Alexander and Jeremy Wafer (all of them contemporaries or students of Davies), they also give an indication of his enduring influence.
