Notes
Artist and Model (2009) depicts the naked artist (Kentridge) looking at a model composed of pieces of torn paper, a method he uses frequently in his work to construct images. Kentridge donated the edition of this print to raise funds for the publication, Handspring Puppet Company, by David Krut Publications, in 2009. The Handspring Puppet Company was founded in 1981 and is most renowned for the horse puppets created for the London stage production of Michael Morpurgo's novel War Horse in 2007.
