An amber-glazed pottery figure of a horse, Tang Dynasty
standing four-square on a rectangular base, its head turned slightly to one side, the unglazed saddle with amber-glazed splashes, the saddle-cloth, mane and forelock with pale-green glaze, with aperture for the tail, firing cracks, glaze fritting chips, with restorations, 49cm high
Accompanied by a Thermoluminescence Certificate from the University of Hong Kong, Laboratory number 114.92, 14 August 1992.
