• The vines are situated on the Witzenberg mountain range at a high altitude of 960m above sea level.
• Grapes are grown on Bokkeveld skalie (shale).
• Continental growing conditions consisting of cool nights and warm days.
• Slow and late ripening during the growing season resulting in concentrated fruit.
• Purity and complexity that is quite unique.
Tasting Notes: This Pinot Noir offers a bouquet of ripe raspberries, initial savoury notes, and an underlying minerality. Fresh cherries are supplemented by gentle oak, ending off with a velvety mouthfeel.
Ready for drinking in 8 years.
