octagonal, each side painted with panels of ‘The Three Friends’ divided by cell-diaper panels centring a foliate rondel, the exterior painted with a continuous band of blossoms above a wave-shaped border, underglaze-blue four-character Fuki choshun mark, 15,2cm wide
