baluster, decorated with a young boy holding a ruyi-head sceptre astride a kylin with four small boy attendants each holding a standard before a balustraded ground, the foreground with rocky outcrops and 'The Three Friends', 18cm high; and a Chinese wucai 'Buddhist lion' vase, Ming Dynasty, 16th/17th century baluster, decorated with a pair of dogs-of-fo amongst scrolling peonies, the neck with a lappet border, 18cm high
