This maiden vintage wine is made from a single vineyard planted in 1977 in the Piekenierskloof ward situated in the Citrusdal mountain district. This vineyard are planted in decomposed sandstone soils at about 750m above sea level. These vineyards are passionately farmed by the Sandell family and team. The idea behind this wine is to tell a story about a specific site, soil and farmer.
