Back Story: Photograph of homeless shelter opened to get people off the street during lockdown. I work as a volunteer at the shelter providing food and teaching yoga.
This image was submitted to Stilled Life, a community photographic platform launched to give South Africans a place to share their Covid-19 stories, and has been selected as one of the top 100 images that will be on view at the 2020 RMB Turbine Art Fair. The proceeds of the sale of this lot will benefit the BASA Artists Relief Fund.
