The winning bidder and up to three guests will overnight in two deluxe balcony rooms at Bonne Esperance Boutique Guest House in Stellenbosch. With a history spanning over 100 years and a major revamp in 2019 - it is the epitome of modern luxury combined with the charm of historic Stellenbosch. Located in the heart of the town, it is within 100 m easy walking distance of the world-renowned Fat Butcher steakhouse.

The winning bidder and three guests will be treated to a VIP meal at Stellenbosch dining institution The Fat Butcher and welcomed personally by owner Rita Swart with a special bottle or two of Vilafonté to further lubricate the evening.

A 25 year old winemaking venture founded by the Head of Viticulture from Opus One, the head winemaker from Mondavi in California and South African vintner Michael S. Ratcliffe. Michael is Chairman of Stellenbosch Wine Routes, Chair of Stellenbosch Tourism and Chairman of boutique firm Wine Business Advisors.

Vilafonté was recently named best red wine producer and 'Outstanding Global Producer' at the international Wine & Spirits Competition in London. Vilafonté was crowned as the 'Best Bordeaux blend in the World' at the Six-Nations wine competition in 2019 and received South Africa's highest rating in 2021 from James Suckling for a South African red wine.
