About this Item
Paul Cluver estate reflects the uniqueness of the cool-climate Elgin terroir. Established in 1896, Dr Paul Cluver IV pioneered the Elgin wine region and today it is a family affair. Andries Burger is married to Paul’s daughter and has been winemaker for two decades.
Recognised amongst South Africa’s wine elite, Seven Flags is a barrel selection of a single Burgundian clone off the farm's best site.

Private ClientCritics Ratings
'The 2010 Seven Flags Pinot Noir undergoes a double blind selection process and sees 40% new oak that is barely noticeable on the nose with lifted crushed strawberry, Morello and subtle dried petal scents that gently waft from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins, a clean line of acidity, spine-tingling tension and a harmonious finish.' Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, 93/100
