'So good that I had to buy some myself, this is a stunning varietal Cabernet Franc that used to go into Five Arches but was bottled on its own for the first time in 2015. The quintessence of the variety, with heady scents of violet and graphite, leafy, cut grass notes, silky tannins, fine oak and a finish that lingers on the tongue. 2018-25' - Tim Atkin MW, SA Special Report 2017, 96/100
'Peter-Allan managed to capture the essence of the grape variety on the nose, quite savory with touches of bacon fat and black pepper. The palate is well balanced with soft tannin, quite tarry in texture with good acidity and a well-balanced, supple finish, Chinese five spice and clove lingering on the aftertaste.' - Neal Martin, Wine Advocate (Apr 2017)
