Critics Ratings
‘Light gold. Rich aromas of lemon zest, baked apple and candied apricot, with a floral honey quality that gains strength in the glass. Heady nectar flavors are lifted by subtle citrus nuances that buffer the wine’s sweetness and add complexity. Clean and very well conceived but almost over the top, the wine’s 13.5% alcohol is more reminiscent of Sauternes than of the Loire.’ – Joel B. Payne, Vinous, 90/100 (Dec 2014)
‘This delivers a juicy core of date, orange blossom, peach, persimmon and ginger notes, laced with a bright green tea accent through the well-defined finish. Not as big as the vintage's pedigree, but solid nonetheless. Drink now through 2019.’ – James Molesworth, Wine Spectator, 92/100 (Apr 2015)
