About this Item
Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier was founded in 1863 by Frédéric Mugnier’s great-great-grandfather. In 1985, Frederic – a fifth generation Mugnier – took over, and somehow managed to combine the running of the property with his job as an airline pilot. He now focuses his efforts solely on winemaking. The estate is renowned for its Chambolle-Musigny and is the second largest owner in Musigny.

Critics Ratings
‘Still quite fresh and vibrant, the 2005 Clos de la Maréchale offers all of the luxurious radiance and intensity that makes wines from this year so appealing. Soaring floral and spiced aromatics lift the dark red and purplish fruit nicely, while beams of supporting tannin remind us we are in Nuits Saint-Georges. Drinking window 2018 - 2033.’ – Antonio Galloni, Vinous, 93/100 (Jan 2019)
