Notes
This tapestry was woven posthumously from a 1981 watercolour (private collection) by the Stephens Tapestry Studio (Johannesburg, South Africa, and Piggs Peak, Swaziland). The weavers were Treasure Zulu, Daphne Lukele and Rhoda Sori.
The work is signed and authenticated by the artist's son Giles Battiss.
