'Light ruby color. A high-toned and ultra-fresh nose is both cool and pure while offering up spicy floral aromas of various red berries and earth nuances. There is a really lovely sense of underlying tension to the delicious and well-detailed middle weight flavors that culminate in a dusty, firm and well-balanced finish. There is some of the hallmark austerity of a typical Les Rouges and for my taste this should continue to reward another 5 to 7 years or so of additional bottle age.
