About this Item
Domaine Dujac was established in 1967 by Jacques Seysses when he purchased Domaine Marcel Graillet, a poor estate of only 4.5 hectares, and renamed it Domaine du Jacques. Overtime, the name evolved into Domaine Dujac – a playful moniker. Today, they hold around 14.5 hectares and cultivate 18.5 hectares in total. Buying parcels as they became available, the domaine expanded over the years and now owns some of the most exceptional holdings, including the Grands Crus of Echézeaux, Bonnes-Mares, Clos Saint Denis, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, Charmes-Chambertin and Clos de la Roche. Aiming for elegance, finesse and complexity, the quality of their seven Grands Crus is a testament to the domaine being one of the Burgundy’s leading producers.

Critics Ratings
2008
‘A markedly floral nose is composed of notes of lilac, violets, spice and sandalwood notes. There is good intensity to the sleek mineral-driven flavors that retain a lovely sense of both tension and delineation, all wrapped in a dusty and serious finish that delivers excellent length. This firm effort is still on the way up and for my tate it's going to require at least another 5 years of cellar time before it's completely ready for prime time. Drink 2022+.’ – Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, 92/100 (Apr 2016)

‘A ripe yet still cool and elegant nose of classic Vosne-style spice notes adds breadth to the black fruit and stone aromas. The naturally sweet and succulent flavors brim with a fine minerality and plenty of mouth coating dry extract that conclude with a dusty, firm and impressively persistent finish. This is terrific and should age effortlessly. Drink 2024+.’ – Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, 93/100 (Jan 2012)
