of wavy outline, the centre painted with a bird of paradise amongst flowering blossoms, two-character iron-red mark, 18cm diameter; another, late 19th century, rectangular, painted with shaped panels of pagodas and mountainscapes against an iron-red ground, with gilt highlights, cracks, repaired, impressed two-character iron-red mark,19,5cm wide; a Japanese Kutani tea caddy and cover, late 19th century, painted with rondels of figures and Buddhist emblems against an iron-red ground, with detachable inner cover, iron-red two-character mark, 10cm high; a Japanese Kutani saucer dish, decorated with shaped brocade panels, 11,5cm diameter; a pair of Japanese Kutani sake cups, early 20th century, painted with figures before a landscape, the interior with calligraphic inscription, chips and hairline cracks, iron-red two-character mark, 8,5cm high; and two further Japanese saucers, modern, the larger 9cm diameter
