The Rijk's CWG Chenin Blanc Collection, comprising 3 x 750ml bottles of Rijk’s CWG Chenin Blanc 2016 and 3 x 750ml bottles of Rijk’s CWG Chenin Blanc 2018

Rijk's CWG Chenin Blanc Collection features three bottles each of the 2016 and 2018 vintages.

The 2016 wine underwent gentle crushing, 100% barrel fermented, and matured for 16 months in French oak barrels. The wine was fermented with natural yeast to showcase the terroir's uniqueness, and no malolactic fermentation was encouraged.

The 2018 Chenin Blanc was harvested by hand from a 14-year-old bush vine vineyard and naturally fermented in new and second fill 300 litre French oak barrels. The wine matured for 14 months before bottling with minimal sulphur addition. Despite the drought in 2018, the wine boasts a powerful yet elegant profile.

The wine features fresh white peach and gooseberry aromas, hints of cracked almonds, and a multi-layered palate with a gentle, lingering finish.
