Camusso

The Camusso silver company was founded in 1933 by Italian silversmith Carlo Mario Camusso Grasso in Lima, Peru. After arriving from Italy and recovering from an illness in Huacho, Camusso was inspired by local artisans to start his own workshop. In 1946, the business was incorporated as Carlo Mario Camusso S.A. and quickly became a dominant force in Peru's silver market.

After retiring in 1957, Camusso handed over the business to his sons-in-law, who began exporting in 1962. The third generation took over in the 90s, and the company expanded into jewelry and accessories, launching the CMC brand and opening a store in Jockey Plaza. Today, Camusso has seven stores in Peru and exports to 22 countries worldwide.
