Creswick & Co

Sheffield, England 

Creswick & Co was a Sheffield-based silverware manufacturer, originally known as T.J. & N. Creswick, founded in 1810 by brothers Thomas and James Creswick. They registered their first mark, "crossed arrows," in 1811 for Old Sheffield Plate production. The firm was known for its high-quality Sheffield Plate and exhibited at the 1851 Great Exhibition.

They transitioned to the name Creswick & Co in 1855, continuing to produce a mix of Sheffield Plate and electroplated items. In 1902, they were acquired by William Hutton & Sons, who continued to use the crossed arrows trademark. The Creswick family had a long legacy in the cutlery trade, with several family members serving as Masters Cutler. The firm eventually dissolved in the late 19th century.
