William Cripps

William Cripps was a London silversmith known for his Rococo-style tableware. Active from 1738 until his death in 1766, he created elaborate silver pieces sought by the aristocracy. His work is featured in collections like the Victoria and Albert Museum. Cripps never married, and his business was continued by George Coyte and possibly his relative Mark Cripps.
