Australia - Margaret River 

Cape Mentelle Vineyards is a leading wine producer in Western Australia's Margaret River region. The estate was founded by David, Mark and Giles Hohnen in 1970 and is one of the oldest wineries in the region. Many of the estate's wines come from original plantings, including the estate's flagship Cabernet Sauvignon. Today it is owned by luxury goods company LVMH. Cape Mentelle was founded with just 16 hectares of vineyard land, but has since expanded to 150 hectares across multiple vineyards. Production was very much focused on red wines in Cape Mentelle's early years.
