Château Grand Mayne is a Grand Cru Classé wine estate located in the center of the Saint-Émilion region in Bordeaux. Owned and managed by the Nony family, the estate has been a Grand Cru Classé since 1955. Here, vines averaging 35 years old and planted with 75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon are deeply rooted in clay-limestone and sandy soil. This geological mosaic is what makes the vineyards so special, and leads to the production of wines with a variety of aromatic expression. The climate is typical of the region. Conditions are mild and temperate thanks to the proximity of the Atlantic Ocean.
