Les Carmes Haut-Brion

Château Les Carmes Haut-Brion was created in 1584 when Jean de Pontac of Haut-Brion donated a water-mill together with its surrounding vines and land to the Carmelite Order. The members cared for the land and gave it its name, Les Carmes. The estate has changed ownership various times throughout the years and, with it, has significantly expanded its vineyards from its original 4 hectares. The vineyards are planted with Merlot and a high proportion of Cabernet Franc, and the estate produces a second wine.

We have not offered any works by Les Carmes Haut-Brion at auction
