Rossignol-Trapet

Domaine Rossignol-Trapet owns vineyards in the Côte de Nuits Grand Cru climats of Le Chambertin, Latricieres-Chambertin and Chapelle-Chambertin, as well as five Côte de Nuits Premier Cru-classified vineyards in Clos Prieur, Petite Chapelle, Cherbaudes, Les Corbeaux and Aux Combottes. The Domaine's only Beaune Premier Cru-classified vineyard is Les Teurons, which is also one of the largest in Beaune. Born of the marriage between Jacques Rossignol of Volnay with Mado Trapet from Gevrey-Chambertin. Both the Rossignol and Trapet families have long and distinguished histories in the French winemaking industry within the regions of Volnay and Gevrey-Chambertin. Since 1990, the domaine has been managed by their sons, Nicolas and David Rossignol. During this time, the domaine has moved to biodynamic farming.
