Sénéjac

France Bordeaux

Château Sénéjac, in the far south of the Médoc, close to the vineyards of Margaux, is owned and run by the same family behind Château Talbot and has been since 1999. The estate has long been known for producing excellent value wines and its history dates at least as far back as the 16th century. The estate itself is huge, totaling over 150 hectares, however only 41 of these are planted with vines. The Médoc commune of Le Pian has similar gravelly soils to Margaux, which are well suited to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot; Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot are also grown.

We have not offered any works by Sénéjac at auction
