Trimbach

France - Alsace

Domaine Trimbach is a 400-year-old family business and produces, arguably, ‘the single most admired dry Riesling made anywhere’ according to Jancis Robinson. This bastion of classical winemaking has, over 13 generations, become ‘the most famous Riesling estate in all Alsace’ writes Wine Advocate. Today, the property is run by the 12th generation who continue the tradition of terroir-driven, dry Rieslings. Their most famous wine, Clos Sainte Hune is sourced from a 1.67-hectare plot within the Rosacker Grand Cru, which has been family-owned for more than 200 years. Wine Advocate writes that consumers find the Clos Sainte Hune to be ‘one of the finest dry Rieslings on the planet’.
