Art Club

At Strauss & Co, we believe that artistic pleasure extends beyond simply viewing works of art; it also comes from the conversations and connections that art inspires.

In February 2023, we launched Art Club in Johannesburg, followed by its debut a month later, with a life drawing session, at our Cape Town branch. Since then, Art Club has grown in scope and ambition, engaging practitioners, topics, and formats across Cape Town and Johannesburg. Adding to Strauss & Co’s repertoire of educational programming, including talks, walkabouts, non-selling art exhibitions and collaborations with industry pioneers, Art Club serves as a platform for both new and seasoned art lovers and collectors to come together and engage in meaningful discussions.
