About the Session

Just how well do modern-era South African wines perform as they get older ? One of the most important measures of great wine is that it should be age-worthy, that is it should become more pleasurable and more interesting to drink with time in the bottle.

Critics Ratings

'The nose is charming with plenty of ripe mango and passion fruit scents that remain tightly controlled and defined. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity and a deft, quite tense finish. Excellent.' – Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, 90/100 (Oct 2014)

'Tight and linear on the nose. Lime and passion fruit with a bit of chew.' – Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com, 16++/20 (Sep 2022)
